Watermans Arms Bar and Restaurant in Pembroke

The Watermans Arms Bar and Restaurant is located in the heart of Pembroke

We pride ourselves on providing good quality, home cooked meals of the highest standard.

In order to help with social distancing in the workplace we have had to
reduce the number of kitchen staff per shift and therefore we felt it was
necessary to slightly reduce our menu, however, we hope there is still ‘something for everyone!’

Our Story

The Watermans Arms is situated in an idyllic location, directly on the Mill Pond in the historic town of Pembroke. Pembroke is steeped in history and the town’s most popular attraction is the medieval fortress of Pembroke Castle, the birthplace of King Henry 7th and the site of several dramatic sieges.

We, at The Watermans, are fortunate enough to have an enviable view of Pembroke Castle and the surrounding castle pond, just over the Mill bridge.
Originally the Mill Pond had two functions, by creating a defensive moat around the Northern side of Pembroke Castle and by providing water flow required to power the corn mill which supplied the Castle and the town, however it is now a mainly freshwater pond due to a barrage, created in the 1970s.
